The
Racing School is proud to announce the opening of our Dare Stock
racing program. That means you, YES YOU, can be racing in a
real NASCAR sanctioned race at Stafford Speedway.
What is Dare Stock? It's an inexpensive division designed to
develop mechanical and driving aptitudes. This division provides
a platform to learn and identify basic skills prior to moving
on to more complex competition.
We field 2 cars (#'s 1, 01) - both late 80's Chevrolet Monte
Carlo's complete with built 305 racing motors. These cars are
top-notch and have been placing well at the track.
The package price INCLUDES your tires, 2 practice sessions,
a heat race, and the feature race. The package does not include
your fuel (approx $70.00), and your entry level NASCAR license
($90.00).
You must be at least 18 years of age and have the entry level
NASCAR license to race. You can obtain your license at the track
the day of your race. There is no testing, but you are required
to have a valid government issue drivers license to get your
NASCAR license.
Insurance is available for $50.00 with a $1000.00 deductable.
We don not charge for sheet metal damage in the Dare Stock racing
program only. This rule does not apply to The Racing School
schooling programs.
